Security Officer – Overview The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises, patrolling locations, and enforcing site regulations. Security Officer – Responsibilities Monitor premises and enforce regulations for client site personnel and visitors. Patrol assigned locations to maintain a safe environment. Provide customer service and information to employees and customers. Complete incident reports accurately and in a timely manner. Security Officer – Qualifications Valid driver’s license. Proficiency with computers, tablets, and smartphones. Ability to stand and operate a tablet outdoors (15–30 minute intervals). Willingness to work additional shifts if needed and to cover a 4‑hour period after a shift if relief is unavailable. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to read, write, and complete incident reports. Ability to work independently and multitask. Willingness to wear steel‑toe shoes if required.
