As a Security Officer Armed Field Patrol Driver in Eden, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Pay Rate: $18.30 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate campus resources and/or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, walkways, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or hazardous conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation; maintain professional communication with site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
