Requirements High School Diploma or GED required or Associates or Bachelors Degree in Accounting preferred. 2-3 years of Accounts Payable experience required. At Merakey, we put heart and soul into everything we do. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to support the accounts payable team. This is a hybrid‑remote position based out of our headquarters located at: 620 E. Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444. Earn 19.00‑21.00/hr depending on experience. Position Details The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible under general supervision for the cost efficient and timely processing of check request, purchase order, and expense payments. The Accounts Payable Specialist will report to the Accounts Payable Manager. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Ensure that payments have followed the preset approvals necessary for the payments and maintain the proper records for transactions processed. Maintain good vendor and departmental relations by responding to vendor and departmental request to provide information and help in resolving payment issues as they occur. Process expense payments and payments of Purchase orders and Check request through AP CONCUR. Ensure and verify proper approvals are documented before payments are made. Assist in Special Projects that encompass Accounts payable information with flexibility to support onsite as needed. Run reports that will provide assistance to vendors and those for Internal Departments. Track the Timeliness of transactions in AP Concur. Perform necessary research with complex transactions for vendors or Internal to the department. Assist established and new users with AP Concur. Maintain Vendor Setup for existing vendors and new vendors with a W-9 (as assigned) and assist as needed with vendor data collection.
