About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2+ years in Medical-Surgical / Telemetry License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required, not expiring within 30 days of start Must-Have: Experience with EPIC Description: TMC orientation is held twice a month. Upcoming orientation dates are available. Candidates will receive an auto offer with zero requested time off. Minimum 2+ years of Medical-Surgical / Telemetry experience is required. Current BLS and NIHSS certifications are required, and must not be expiring within 30 days of the start date. Experience with EPIC charting system is required. Travelers must be agreeable to floating to the sister facility if required. Floating within the scope of care and practice is expected. Full contract length is required. Candidates are required to work a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per month. The patient ratio will be 1:5-6. Candidates must not submit to multiple positions simultaneously. The staffing model includes floating to sister locations as needed. Experience in accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, and various medical procedures is essential. Skills in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing various patient care scenarios are required. Interdisciplinary support services are available in the unit. Patients may present with a range of diagnoses including strokes, metabolic encephalopathy, and respiratory failure. This position requires flexibility in scheduling and patient care responsibilities. Blocked scheduling will not be accommodated. References will be required from previous employers. Travelers are evaluated based on a DUI policy. Work history from prior assignments will be considered for rehire status approval.
