Security Technician

We are seeking experienced Security Technicians with 3-5 years of experience supporting commercial and industrial security systems throughout North and Northeast New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, program, service, and troubleshoot Access Control Systems
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Intrusion Detection Systems
• Install, configure, and service CCTV and IP Video Surveillance Systems
• Install electronic door hardware, locking systems, and related devices
• Run, terminate, label, test, and certify low-voltage cabling
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Perform system testing, commissioning, and customer training

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience installing and servicing electronic security systems
• Strong hands-on experience with Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and Video Surveillance Systems
• Experience working with IP-based security platforms and network-connected devices
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to travel throughout the North/Northeast New Jersey area

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Certification
• BICSI Certification
• Manufacturer certifications in access control, intrusion, or video surveillance systems
• Experience supporting commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, or enterprise security environments
