We are currently hiring for a Machine Operator with CNC/Press Brake experience in our Lafayette, IN facility. Job tasks include set up and operating press brake, measurement and inspection of parts.
Position Summary
- Set up parameters of press brake through touch screen on the equipment to adjust tonnage, angle, speed, and number of bends on a work piece.
- Responsible for producing parts in the proper quantity as identified by the production schedule
- Determine angle of bends by utilizing protractor, tape measure, and squares to ensure that parts conform to customer specification by.
- Perform in-process inspections of parts throughout the manufacturing run and ensure they meet visual standards of acceptance.
- Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum one year press brake or CNC machine operation experience; or recent certification from a manufacturing or technical program

Required
1-3 years: Previous press brake or CNC experience, or recent certification from a manufacturing or technical program.
