District Manager in Training Salaried Pay Range: $100,000 to $118,000 (will vary based upon strategic talent planning needs). What you’ll be working on Ensure store performance meets targets in sales, profit, on‑site donations, production, and productivity based on annual expectations. Lead, direct and supervise the work of the management team and thereby the entire team; oversee staffing, recruiting, training, coaching, and scheduling. Audit merchandise and prices, implement seasonal back stock, merchandising, and other strategic programs. Execute all company standards in the Community Donation Center (CDC) and create community awareness of the CDC, brand, and donation benefits. Create Store Operating Plans (SOP) to drive toward budget and optimize results. Coordinate with and report to the Regional Director. Deliver a positive customer/donor experience through example and training; ensure service expectations are met. Protect company assets and ensure safety through loss prevention, security procedures, and support of the Joint Health and Safety Committee. What you have Previous District multi‑unit experience. High school diploma: post‑secondary degree preferred. Consistent track record of delivering top‑tier financial results; high energy, commitment, and passion for the business. Natural problem solver with strong analytical skills and sound judgment; decisive action in uncertain conditions. Strong budget management and aptitude for working with numbers. Superior organizational, prioritization, and time‑management skills. Physical Requirements Frequently lift and carry products up to 5 lbs.; occasionally up to 50 lbs.; occasionally push/pull racks/carts 50–250 lbs. Frequent reaching, handling merchandise, and training the team. Dexterity for complex hand‑eye tasks including keyboarding and document writing. Continuous standing, walking, stooping, bending, twisting, occasional kneeling. Ability to read written and electronic documents and product labels. Ability to hear and verbally communicate; respond to management, team members, and customers. Occasional exposure to hazardous machinery, solvents, radiation, dust, and temperature fluctuations. Need to adjust work schedule to business needs, including nights, weekends, holidays. Ability to navigate work environment with large industrial machinery, heavy equipment, and elevated surfaces safely.
