Position Overview

This is a night shift position offering a 13-20 week contract at a medical facility in Akron, OH. The schedule includes three 12-hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional care in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit.
• Utilize clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required.
• Must hold a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.

Additional Requirements

• References must come from a manager or supervisor in the specialty within the last 12 months.
• All required certifications must be active and on hand at the time of submission.
• Travelers are encouraged to submit for only one position at a time within the health system.
• Background checks will be reviewed by the facility, and any open cases may disqualify an applicant.
• Nicotine-free compliance is required for travelers outside of exempt roles.
• A negative 10-panel drug test, including nicotine, is required within 12 months of starting.
