• Current North Carolina teaching license in Special Education, or eligibility for a reciprocal license with an active credential from another state
• Previous school-based experience is preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are encouraged to apply

• Dependable work ethic and adaptability to new classroom environments

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate as a co-teacher to provide quality instruction and differentiated support to elementary students with special needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with families and school staff
• Maintain a welcoming, nurturing, and inclusive classroom culture
• Regularly assess student progress and adjust instructional approaches to maximize growth
