Job Responsibilities

• Develop Individualized Treatment Approaches: Assess patient needs and construct tailored therapy strategies designed to help them reach their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to foster improvements in motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive and patient-centered care.
• Guide Patients and Families: Provide education to patients and their caregivers on therapeutic strategies to support continued progress outside the clinical setting.
• Track Progress and Document Outcomes: Monitor clinical developments and modify treatment plans accordingly to keep patients on the path to success.

Educational Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Continuing education or post-graduate certifications highly encouraged and supported.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT certification is mandatory.
