(PTA) Physical Therapy Assistant
Full-time

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Colonial Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting physical therapists in developing treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
Measure and record residents' motor function, strength, and muscle performance
Assist physical therapists in developing treatment plans
Observe residents and write progress reports
Evaluate residents' capability to function independently
Assist residents in carrying out specific exercises
Treat residents with various techniques, such as stretching and massage
Help residents use necessary equipment and devices
Educate residents on proper exercise techniques to strengthen muscles and improve mobility
Maintain resident confidentiality by monitoring confidential information processing
Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
Contribute to team effort
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited PTA Program
Current New York State PTA License
Experience is a plus
