Production Operator

A growing chemical manufacturer is seeking a dependable Production Operator to join their team! Candidates with prior processing, batching, blending, or mixing experience in a food or chemical manufacturing environment are encouraged to apply. Duties:

• Read production specifications and formulas
• Measure and add ingredients into large processing equipment
• Monitor batches during the compounding process
• Verify products meet specifications before moving forward in production
• Set up, operate, and monitor production and packaging equipment
• Record production and quality information accurately
• Collect samples for testing
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures

Salary

$18.00 - $20.00 / hour

Technical Qualifications:

• Prior mixing, blending, batching, or compounding experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow formulas and production specifications
• Basic math skills
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to maintain accurate production records
• Ability to safely operate production equipment
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and climb stairs / ladders throughout shift
