Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Clinton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government corrections location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment through professional communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized individuals at a government corrections-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, perimeter areas, and parking locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization as required, and report access-control concerns, prohibited items, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; request additional support and document actions taken as required.
• Prepare accurate reports, maintain required activity logs, and communicate observations and incident information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
