Join us in shaping LA28 and redefining the future of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.)Job DescriptionAECOM Hunt has an exciting opportunity for a Project Superintendent will be responsible for on-site supervision of all construction activities for the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games and Team USA.The Project Superintendent will:Focus on field execution, subcontractor coordination, safety, quality control, and schedule adherence.Work closely with the Project Manager while serving as the primary on-site leader and point of contact for subcontractors and inspectors.Oversee construction and TI (tenant improvement) projects from preconstruction through closeout.Coordinate and manage inspections with Los Angeles County jurisdictions and local agenciesEnforce jobsite safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standardsConduct daily site walks to monitor quality, progress, and site conditionsIdentify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and coordination challenges in real timeManage site logistics, phasing, and sequencing, particularly in occupied or operational facilitiesMaintain accurate daily reports, logs, and field documentation using ProcoreLead subcontractor meetings, toolbox talks, and coordination meetingsAbout Construction Management – AECOM HuntFounded in 1944 in Indianapolis, Indiana, AECOM Hunt has been building for over 70 years. From iconic stadiums and arenas, next-gen transportation hubs and sustainable healthcare and academic buildings, AECOM Hunt’s expertise, leadership and dedication are unparalleled.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:BA/BS Construction Management, Engineering or similar curriculum and 6 years of demonstrated construction superintendent experience or AA/AS and 8 years of relevant experience or HSD/GED and 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Preferred Qualifications:6+ years of experience as a Superintendent, with a strong focus on interior renovations and tenant improvement projects, core and shell construction and general commercial construction.Proven experience managing field operations in Los Angeles County, including familiarity with local inspection and permitting processesStrong leadership and subcontractor management skillsExperience working in occupied buildings and phased construction environmentsProficiency with CMIC, Bluebeam, BIM or other similar field management toolsStrong understanding of construction sequencing, methods, and building systemsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsExcellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skillsPhysical Demands: The following physical demands represent those typically required of individuals working in construction field roles, with or without accommodation. Construction field positions require physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to climb ladders and stairs, use personnel hoists, and move through various terrain and active construction zones. Vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Team members must be capable of using their hands to handle tools and materials, and perform activities such as sitting, standing, walking, speaking, hearing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted may be necessary on an occasional basis.Work Environment:Individuals in construction field roles work primarily on active job sites where exposure to environmental and job-related hazards is common, with or without accommodation. These environments may include proximity to heavy machinery, elevated work areas, airborne particles, varying weather conditions, and potential electrical risks. Noise levels may vary from moderate to high depending on the phase of construction. Employees may be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and must remain alert to ensure safety.
