Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Unit in Jupiter, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Position Details Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production-adjacent areas, administrative spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support established screening and reporting processes for restricted or controlled areas. Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift pass-down notes, and report hazards, maintenance concerns, and other security-related issues according to site policies. Minimum Requirements A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is required.A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
