Nurse Manager - Observation Unit

Job Summary Direct and supervise functions and activities in the observation unit; interpret and implement policies, procedures, standards, and regulations to personnel, patients, medical staff, and the public. Perform duties in any nursing capacity as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required) 3 or more years of experience in an acute healthcare setting with proven management skills (Required) Registered Nurse (RN) with a current Georgia license (Required) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (Required) Essential Functions Direct the coordination of care across settings and among caregivers. Engage in teamwork as a team player and a team builder. Serve in key roles at work through shared decision making. Define a clear vision including goals and plans and measure progress. Promote nursing through participation in professional organizations. Use the results of quality improvement activities in nursing practice. Use creativity and innovation in nursing practice to improve care delivery. Incorporate evidence-based knowledge to initiate change in nursing practice. Participate in quality improvement activities. Document and submit required information and data in a timely fashion. Clearly and accurately document designated processes, policies, products, service offerings, etc. Ensure that documentation is tailored to expected readers/users. Use correct terminology.
