NOTE: This position requires a criminal record check. Job Responsibilities Ensure compliance with procedures, policies, regulations, and contracts. Prepare, reconcile and balance financial transactions; Communicate with personnel and vendors to resolve billing or invoicing errors/discrepancies, research, solve problems, and/or obtain information. Identify and correct errors and discrepancies; Maintain logs, ledgers and journals; Develop ad hoc reports, worksheets, spreadsheets and other financial documents; Analyze, research, forecast and reconcile complex financial documents; Ensure compliance with laws, rules, and policies. Communicate with the internal and external customers. Minimum Qualifications Experience: Researching and compiling financial information and preparing summaries and reports; using personal computers to enter, retrieve, and edit financial data. Good Knowledge of: Preferred Qualifications: Excellent customer service and professionalism; Ability to learn quickly, take direction, work as part of a team, ask questions, and problem-solve; Organizational skills and accountability to meet deadlines; Proficiency in computer spreadsheets with attention to detail and accuracy; Working knowledge of accounting procedures; Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel; Reconciling, balancing and proofing financial data; Troubleshooting errors in automated accounting systems.
