Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:
The Registered Staff Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, patient-centered care in the Emergency Room, focusing on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. The RN collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, safety-focused care across all patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough assessments of patients upon arrival, recognizing urgent and emergent needs.
• Develop, revise, and execute individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Delegate clinical activities to appropriate care providers while maintaining oversight of patient care.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond effectively to acute changes in patient conditions.
• Document all clinical interventions and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record (Epic).
• Participate actively in shared decision-making and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Possess 2+ years of experience in Emergency Room nursing, with current EPIC proficiency.
• Hold an active state nursing license and valid certifications including BLS, ACLS, ENPC, NIHSS, and TNCC.
• Demonstrate trauma level I experience and competence with all patient age groups.
• Exhibit strong skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation and emergency protocols.
• Provide verifiable work history with referenced supervision within the past year.
