Full-time Day Shift: Days vary, 7AM- 7PM | Rotating Weekends & Holidays | Three (3), 12-hr shifts per week | Rotating Weekends & Holidays.

The Progressive Care Unit with renowned Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking a dedicated and loyal Clinical Technician to join the team in a full-time capacity!

Clinical Technician Job Responsibilities (to include but not limited to):

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse.
• ADLs
• Blood Draws
• IV Insertion
• Catheter / Foley insertion
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.

Requirements:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds.
• Training: Must be available for six (6) weeks of paid training, consisting of:
• Virtual modules
• Classroom-style sessions: 8AM 4:30PM
• On-unit training with department hired into (times TBD)
• Experience: Prior experience in healthcare, preferred.
