Purchasing Buyer

ALUMAR RECYCLERS INC

Job Description

We are a scrap yard located near Hobby aiport and are looking for a Buyer who has experience in purchasing scrap metal from other scrap yards, industrial accounts and Peddlers and has worked in the industry for 2-5 years. Your daily responsibilities include:

1. co-ordinating purchase of scrap metal from existing suppliers and new suppliers (from your own network)

2. Visiting new scrap yards and expanding our supplier network to maximize purchase of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals daily.

3. creating a competitive price sheet daily based on the market prices and prices of competitors.

4. Co-ordinate with offcie staff to organize pickups and help maintain inventory.
