Support Vital Infrastructure on Oahu's West Side - Construction Project Representative At HDR, we are 100% employee‑owned and passionate about building better communities—especially here in Hawai'i. We are looking for a dedicated Construction Project Representative to support our client at a solid waste management facility on the west side of Oahu. If you are ready to make a real impact in a heavy industrial setting, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Represent the Owner's interests on large and small construction projects at a critical facility. Keep detailed daily logs of site activity and generate reports on progress, safety, quality, schedule, budget, and permit compliance. Review submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, pay apps, and change orders on behalf of the Owner. Support audits and project closeout efforts. Analyze construction schedules and track project timelines. Collaborate with a diverse project team—Owner, engineers, operators, and contractors. Help solve problems and identify cost‑saving solutions without compromising quality. Commitment This role requires a minimum 1‑year commitment and offers the opportunity to work on high‑impact infrastructure in a meaningful way, right here on Oahu. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or a combination of education and relevant experience. Demonstrated construction experience on multidisciplinary projects. Fundamental understanding of contracts and familiarity with codes and laws governing construction. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, identifying discrepancies or conflicts. Team‑player; ability to work in a team environment. Computer literate; experience with Microsoft Office, Primavera, or related construction packages. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Active participation in an employee‑owned culture. Preferred Qualifications Construction or design certifications. Experience with estimating software (Timberline), scheduling software (Primavera P3 or SureTrak), project management software (Prolog), and AutoCAD. Problem‑solving skills and ability to provide possible solutions to the Owner. Compensation & Benefits Compensation range: $64,313 – $109,000 (based on skills, experience, education, and geographical location). This range applies to full‑time regular positions; temporary and part‑time roles may be eligible for limited benefits.
