Outpatient Physical Therapist- Full Time

Responsibilities Under the general supervision of Therapy Leadership and according to departmental policies and procedures regarding referral and standards of treatment, the Physical Therapist performs objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. The Physical Therapist is responsible for direct supervision of patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians, and general supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Qualifications Education: Current State license of Physical Therapy. Bachelor, Master of Science, or Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Licensure: Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice. Experience: Six months to one year experience preferred; experience with adult and geriatric patients is preferred. Certifications: BLS certified; required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently. Physical Requirements Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. Prolonged standing and walking during each shift. Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
