Senior Tax Manager

We are looking for an experienced tax leader to help run and grow our tax practice. You will own complex client relationships, lead proactive planning engagements, mentor our tax team, and help shape how the firm delivers tax services. This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role for someone who wants to operate at the leading edge of Bitcoin taxation. What You'll Do Lead and review individual and business engagements, owning quality and client outcomes. Drive year-round, proactive tax planning: entity structuring, timing of Bitcoin dispositions, and tax‑efficient strategies. Advise on Bitcoin mining tax strategy, including entity structuring to acquire Bitcoin at cost of production. Mentor, coach, and develop staff and senior accountants. Set standards and processes for the tax practice and contribute to firm strategy. Serve as a trusted advisor to the firm's most sophisticated Bitcoin clients. What We're Looking For 6+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, including review and client management. Active CPA license (required). Strongly preferred direct bitcoin tax experience; deep tax leadership combined with a serious commitment to understanding Bitcoin will also be considered. Experience with CCH tax software strongly preferred. Proven ability to lead engagements, develop people, and manage relationships independently. Strong judgment navigating ambiguous, evolving guidance. Comfort leading within a small, fully remote firm.
