Role Overview We are looking for a talented and dedicated Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team committed to delivering exceptional care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will perform crucial diagnostic tasks, work alongside enthusiastic healthcare professionals, and provide peace of mind for patients with timely, accurate imaging results. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct various ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clearly and compassionately explaining each phase
- Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment efficiently, reporting any malfunctions immediately
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the electronic medical record system
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or similar
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
- Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to function both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
