Position Overview We are seeking a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to be part of our dynamic team of imaging specialists committed to delivering unparalleled care. You will harness cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic procedures, work closely with a dedicated team of clinicians, and provide patients with reassurance through precise and timely imaging. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Ensure that patients feel comfortable and safe during procedures, providing clear and compassionate explanations every step of the way
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring providers to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring immediate reporting of any malfunctions
- Accurately document procedures and maintain up-to-date patient records in the electronic medical system
- Stay informed on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative multidisciplinary team
