The company has been actively adding domestic and international subsidiaries and is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the AVP of Finance for the Northern and Southern Regions. The Financial Analyst will be an integral part of the growing finance and accounting team and will report directly to the AVP of Finance. The incumbent will assist with the preparation of monthly forecasts, financial reports, presentation materials, and provide adhoc analysis for the organization. Primary Responsibilities: Actively assist in developing and optimizing the forecasting and reporting models Prepare & standardize reports and projections Identify trends in financial performance, identify risks & opportunities, and provide recommendations for improvement Conduct quantitative analyses surrounding budgeting, forecasting and analysis to support company-wide objectives Analyze and monitor trends from financial metrics to identify variances Assist in developing finance and business presentations Design reports in the company’s ERP system (Oracle) and consolidation/reporting package (OneStream) Streamline data exchange between systems and sources Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required: Superior analytical skills Strong written and oral communication skills Organized, flexible and easily adaptable to changing conditions and diverse teams Ability to work well in high pressure situations in order to meet deadlines Ability to multi-task and manage numerous simultaneous priorities High energy, high ownership of work product Must have a mix of attention to detail and a sense of urgency/results orientation Ability to approach problems from different perspectives to suggest and implement solutions This job takes place in an office with weekly meetings in a Steel Mill, requiring a sense of high-level safety reverence using the required PPE for the environment.
