We are expanding our staff and seeking Licensed Journeyman Electricians to join the Hays Team for a job in Austin, Texas
Job description
We are seeking motivated and skilled Electricians (all levels) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial, multi-family, and hospitality projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Duties:
- Comply with regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time spent, materials used, and tasks completed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices to continuously improve technical skills.
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Electrical License (Required).
- Valid OSHA 10 certification.
- Previous experience working as an Electrical Journeyman in commercial, multi-family, and/or hospitality projects is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety guidelines.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must have tools.
