Eagle Developer (Sr. Specialist)The Eagle Developer (Sr. Specialist) is responsible to design, build and operate systems and solutions efficiently. He/she will work closely with Business Users/Analysts, understand the requirements to build new interfaces or enhance existing and deploy analytical solutions intended to solve defined business use cases. Position requires an individual that is self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision.Essential Functions:Design, build and operate systems and solutions efficiently with an eye to automating and simplifying complex processes.Strong technical skills working with Eagle Star, Eagle Pace platforms (version 15 or higher) using modules:Eagle Message CenterIWSPACE Uploader & ExportersEagle STAR PanelsPL/SQL (Oracle and MS SQL Server) ExpertiseFamiliarity with Database architectureKeen attention to detailFamiliarity with data quality control tools and processesStrong communication skillsFamiliarity with Agile software development, Scrum, and user storiesKnowledge on using repository tools Gitlab or MFSWork closely with Business Users/Analysts:Gather requirements and analyze solution optionsDevelop solutions and define and execute test plansDefine and implement operational proceduresAdhering to SDLC standardsProviding 1st and 2nd level production support.Assisting with preparing estimates for design, coding, and testingPerforming incident management and triageJob Qualifications:Proven working experience as Eagle Developer (Versions 15 or above) at a minimum of 3-5 years and having 10+ years of domain experience in the financial services industry.BA/BS Degree required with a major/minor in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Information Management or Statistics preferred experience working in Asset Management or related financial services company.PL/SQL (Oracle and MS SQL Server) ExpertiseProgramming/development proficiencyMicrosoft Excel proficiencyMust have experience in working with Eagle Star, Eagle Pace platforms using modules Eagle Message Center, IWS, PACE Uploaders & Exporters and Eagle STAR PanelsWorking knowledge on Aladdin (ABOR and IBOR) is preferableExperience in using Code management tools like MS TFS or GitlabAdditional Preferred Qualifications:Python competency
