Sr. Software Engineer, Robotaxi

Tesla's Robotaxi Software Engineer Tesla's Robotaxi software team enables Robotaxi to launch and scale through software. The team is resource constrained: a Team Lead coordinates the software ecosystem and triages unowned gaps, a Data Engineer owns the data ecosystem and consults on data initiatives, and an open Sr Product Manager owns product for ODD, rPlan, and ecosystem discovery. You will own the remaining technical work: productionizing critical software tools, supporting technical discovery, and supporting ad-hoc technical initiatives. Design Technology, which is part of Vehicle Engineering, builds the internal tools that thousands of engineers use every day. This role sits in Robotaxi Ops Software as the software engineer who productionizes tools and coordinates technical work that the Team Lead, Data Engineer, and PM cannot absorb.
