Material Handler – 1st Shift

Pay: $18.00–$21.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday (Overtime as Needed)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler to join our warehouse team on 1st shift. In this role, you will be responsible for moving materials throughout the warehouse, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring production areas remain stocked with the materials needed to support daily operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
• Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (if certified).
• Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against shipping documents.
• Maintain accurate inventory by organizing and storing materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Supply production lines with materials as needed to support manufacturing operations.
• Perform routine inventory counts and assist with cycle counts.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage or discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Assist with other warehouse and production duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Basic computer and inventory management skills are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable with excellent attendance and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
