Overview Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care Location: High Point, North Carolina, United States Start date: 06/22/2026 Duration: 7 weeks Weekly pay: 929 to 973 per week (estimate, may vary) Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Shift: Evening hours, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM; Every Other Weekend required Setting: LTC – Nursing Home Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care and support under the supervision of an RN, focusing on comfort, safety, and daily living activities for long-term residents. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to regulatory policies. MonitorVital signs, assess patient conditions, and recognize changes; promptly report findings to the supervising RN and care team. Implement and update individualized care plans, collaborating with nurses, physicians, and therapy staff to meet resident goals. Assist residents with activities of daily living, gait and mobility support, hygiene, nutrition, and skin care; promote dignity and independence. Maintain accurate charting and communication, uphold infection prevention protocols, and ensure a safe, clean care environment. Requirements 7‑week contract with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Availability for evening shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) and every-other-weekend schedule. Travel assignment in a long-term care nursing home setting. Licensure and regulatory requirements applicable to an LPN; ability to meet state practice requirements as posted for North Carolina.
