Key Qualifications:

• Valid and current RN license
• Recent experience in Stepdown and/or Progressive Care Unit environments
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
• BLS/ACLS certifications (active and up to date)
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in PCU and Stepdown settings, monitoring and assessing patients with complex medical conditions
• Implement physician orders and oversee treatment protocols
• Administer medications and interventions safely and accurately
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes thoroughly and timely
• Respond quickly and appropriately to rapidly changing situations
• Support and educate patients and families throughout hospitalization
