Job Summary

As a Service technician in Glazing, you will be responsible for completing quality repairs, assess damage and perform preventative maintenance for glazing systems and products; including fitting and sealing windows, curtain wall glass, store-front systems, skylights, and glass doors for commercial buildings. Candidates must be comfortable with daily physical labor, working outdoors, from heights, and following extensive safety procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Replacing, installing various types of commercial glazing systems, including curtain wall, store-front, handrails and more.
• Installing, servicing, and repairing glass doors and door hardware
• Work collaboratively with field crews on various projects
• Use our mobile app to record, document, and report repairs/projects
• Provide recommendations for additional work or maintenance.
• On-call 24/7 availability to respond to emergency repairs (additional compensation, staggered schedule)
• Follow all safety rules and procedures

Requirements

• Previous construction or trades experience is required
• Repair experience with commercial glazing/glass systems including curtain walls, store-front, doors, etc. is preferred
• Very comfortable working from heights & outdoors year-round
• Must have valid driver license and clean driving record to drive company vehicles
• Tech savvy-comfortable using mobile phone apps
• On-call availability to respond to emergency repairs (additional compensation, staggered schedule)
• Pass a background check and drug screening
