Job Summary Reporting to the Senior Manager of Policy Operations, this role provides crucial support to the state government affairs policy team, focusing on complex legislative bill and issue tracking, complex data entry, and assisting in the bill review process. The position is suitable for a generalist who can also be available for special projects and short‑turnaround assignments. Core Responsibilities Assist in supporting state and local legislative policy team work, including processing of legislation intake, data entry, managing deadlines, and managing internal and commercial bill trackers. Ensure timely completion of legislative bill reviews and maintain accurate records in bill trackers. Perform complex data entry and email management for legislative bill trackers. Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as needed. Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce duplication. Perform other duties as assigned. Professional Experience & Qualifications Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional time management, strong eye for detail, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Strong relationship‑building and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and analyze large sets of information into usable formats. Excellent consulting, facilitation, and client‑relationship management skills. Discretion and professionalism, representing Comcast positively. Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and oral. Experience developing internal process platforms; knowledge of state legislative process is helpful. Experience with Smartsheet is helpful. Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 5+ years of relevant experience.
