BAR SERVER

• We are hiring immediately for seasonal BAR SERVER positions.
• Location: Union Square Events - 175 Oceanport Avenue, Oceanport, New Jersey 07757. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Seasonal; Days may vary. Hours may vary between 11:00 am and 12:00 am. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior fast, casual service experience is preferred.
• Fixed Pay Rate: $10.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Sets up and serves food and beverages to guests in the bar area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains and cleans serving area.
• Attends to client's needs.
• Ensures that guest's needs are met.
• Sets up bar and serves food and beverages at events.
• Maintains friendly demeanor when interacting with and serving customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• Ability to push and lift up to 25 pounds.

Abides by all Company policies and procedures including but not limited to:

• The use of a medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.

• The use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steamtables.

• The use of slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.
