About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Patient Support Services to spearhead the strategic vision, design, and implementation of comprehensive patient support programs. The successful candidate will be the subject matter expert in patient services, responsible for ensuring timely therapy access, reimbursement support, affordability programs, and adherence services. This role is pivotal in the preparation for the company's first commercial launch, with a focus on building foundational patient support capabilities and establishing launch-ready infrastructure. The Executive Director will lead the development of patient support strategies, establish external partnerships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the patient experience and address barriers to therapy. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and a minimum of 12 years' experience in patient services, market access, reimbursement, commercial operations, pharmacy, healthcare services, or related pharmaceutical and biotechnology functions. The role requires a deep understanding of patient access, reimbursement processes, and U.S. healthcare systems, as well as a proven track record in leading patient support service programs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, exceptional leadership, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives. A builder mindset, proactive approach, and the ability to operate with urgency in a launch environment are essential. The Executive Director will also be responsible for budget planning, financial oversight, and ensuring all activities comply with healthcare laws and regulations.
