Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of outpatient experience for a facility specializing in orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation.

Details

• Outpatient PT clinic setting
• Day shift, Monday-Friday, with negotiable schedule options (5x8, 4x9+half day, or 4x10)
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• Caseload of approximately 10 visits per day at a 1:1 patient ratio
• Patient population includes 80% post-surgical and general orthopedic cases, 10% lymphedema care (if applicable), and 10% neurologic conditions
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Current CO state PT license required (if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of outpatient experience required
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Epic charting experience required
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred

Additional Information

• Main responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of orthopedic and neurologic patients, home exercise program development, and patient/family education
• Completion of facility-specific training modules required within the first week of assignment
• Max 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract, with blackout periods during select weeks in 2026
• No blocked scheduling requests permitted
• First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met
• Local candidates accepted
