Role Overview: As a Project Management Assistant at Precon Marine Inc, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and project support to the project management team. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the project management department to ensure the successful execution of marine construction projects. Whether you work on-site, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the efficient and innovative operations of our maritime solutions company. Key Responsibilities: Reviews construction documents/drawings and understands the scope of work to bid. Assist the project management team with documentation, reporting, and communication processes. Coordinate project schedules, meetings, and logistics to support seamless project execution. Maintain and organize project files, records, and databases to ensure accessibility and accuracy. Collaborate with the procurement and logistics team to facilitate the timely delivery of project materials and equipment. Support project managers in tracking project milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation. Prepares weekly bid calendar and ensures timely completion of estimates. Solicits pricing from subcontractors and vendors, complying with desired DBE/WBE project requirements. Inputs take-offs into computer spreadsheet. Qualifications: You're a great fit if you have the following skills. A progressive increase in knowledge of Marine Contracting and other areas of work. Exceptional organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to facilitate effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive and adaptable approach to tasks. Experience in the maritime, construction, or related industry is a plus. Employment Type & Availability: This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7 am-4 pm.
