Associate Software Engineer - Aladdin Graph

Salary: $132,500 - 162,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with 3+ years of software engineering experience on large-scale software development and deployment.
• We require a BS/MS in Computer Science from an accredited university, or equivalent practical experience.
• We need strong programming ability in Java, Python, or Golang, along with a willingness to learn.
• We expect hands-on experience with Linux shell and confidence troubleshooting production-style issues such as logs, configurations, and basic networking.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with event messaging systems and event-driven architectures.
• Preferred qualifications include familiarity with API frameworks, Google API Improvement Proposals, and protobuf.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with gRPC, including defining service contracts with Protocol Buffers and building gRPC clients and servers.
• Preferred qualifications include knowledge of API governance models and review practices that support consistent, high-quality APIs.

• We improve developer experience through clear standards, repeatable golden paths, and tooling that simplifies onboarding and adoption.
• We are expected to be curious, data-focused, detail-oriented, and proactive in learning new technologies, including using AI in day-to-day engineering work.
