Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Pharmacist in Charge to support a mail order infusion pharmacy environment. This contract position offers a part-time schedule ranging from 15 to 30 hours per week over an 8-week period, with potential for extension. The role is primarily based in Blue Springs, MO, with immediate needs in Texas licenses and subsequent priorities for Nebraska and Oklahoma.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee pharmacy operations as the Pharmacist in Charge, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Manage order entry using CareTend software in a mail order infusion setting.
- Prepare and review IV admixtures and sterile compounded products.
- Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to support infusion services.
- Maintain accurate documentation and quality assurance processes.
Qualifications:
- Valid pharmacist licenses for Missouri and Texas are required immediately; licenses for Nebraska and Oklahoma are desirable.
- Proven pharmacy management experience as a Pharmacist in Charge.
- Experience in home infusion pharmacy or sterile compounding is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and sterile admixing procedures.
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 15 to 30 hours per week, mostly during daytime hours.
