Licensed Electrician

Position Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Electrician to join our growing team working on commercial construction and renovation projects throughout the region. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems in commercial environments, including schools, healthcare facilities, municipal buildings, office spaces, retail locations, and industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings.
• Install conduit, wiring, panels, switchgear, lighting systems, and electrical equipment.
• Perform electrical rough-in and finish work on new construction and renovation projects.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Coordinate with project managers, foremen, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure project success.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following all OSHA and company safety requirements.
• Complete projects on schedule while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Document work performed and communicate project progress to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Active Electrical License (E1, E2, Journeyman, or equivalent depending on state requirements).
• 3+ years of commercial electrical experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and electrical schematics.
• Experience with conduit bending, wiring methods, and commercial electrical installations.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience

• Commercial new construction and renovation projects.
• Schools, healthcare facilities, municipal, higher education, or industrial projects.
• Fire alarm, low-voltage, or controls experience is a plus.
