We are hiring a Full‑Time Licensed Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our high‑performing clinical team. This is not a slow general dental office. You will work directly alongside orthodontists, support clinical efficiency, and help deliver safe, high‑quality patient care. Essential Functions Perform sterilization procedures in accordance with OSHA and established clinical guidelines Prepare precise tray setups for orthodontic procedures Obtain diagnostic records including X-rays, intra‑oral scans, photos, and impressions Accurately enter clinical notes in patient records Provide direct patient care under the direct supervision of a licensed dentist Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment instructions Fabricate Essix retainers and complete basic lab duties Prepare and document lab cases to ensure timely delivery Maintain operatory cleanliness and clinical readiness at all times This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and strong clinical awareness. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Dental Assistant licensure, as required by applicable state regulations Minimum 1 year of dental experience Knowledge of dental terminology, techniques, and procedures Strong attendance record and dependable reliability Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment Clear communication and professional demeanor Preferred: Orthodontic experience Experience with digital scanning technology Commitment to continuing education and professional development We value discipline, coachability, and long‑term commitment. Work Schedule We operate in a patient‑centered model. Many of our patients are children and working adults, so peak demand occurs after school, after work, and on some Saturdays. Local travel between offices may be required. Compensation Pay range starting at $25.00 per hour.
