Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist - Spanish Language Clinic (HOPE)

Overview The Division of Hematology/Oncology/Bone Marrow Transplantation at Children’s Mercy Kansas City is seeking a full‑time BE/BC Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join our Oncology Team with a focus on the care of children and adolescents with hematologic malignancies. Responsibilities The candidate will participate in clinical, research, and educational efforts and should have an interest in mentoring residents and/or H/O fellows. The person who accepts this position will exhibit excellent clinical skills and a desire to advance the field of hematologic malignancies through research and collaboration. Assumed responsibilities include involvement in all aspects of the Cancer Center, including clinical, research, and administration. Qualifications Preference will be given to a Spanish‑speaking physician with a strong or proven interest in health care disparities and patient advocacy. International medical graduates who have trained or practiced medicine in Latin America will be considered provided residency or fellowship has been completed in the United States.
