Physicist - Radiation Oncology - Methodist

We are seeking a full-time Radiation Oncology Physicist to provide comprehensive medical physics support for radiation therapy services such as external beam, brachytherapy, SRS, and SBRT . Key responsibilities include supporting a collaborative practice environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (IEMA, NRC, ACR, DNV), overseeing equipment testing, calibration, and quality assurance, and developing departmental policies and QA programs. The role involves serving as Department Radiation Safety Officer , leading radiation safety efforts, collaborating with clinical staff for treatment planning, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and providing education and technical instruction. Qualifications include a Master's or PhD in Physics or related field , ABR certification , and Radiologic Technologist license . Clinical experience is preferred. This position offers opportunities for supporting innovation, clinical projects, and program development, with sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available.
