Actuarial Analyst

Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week fostering collaboration and connectivity while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The Actuarial Analyst assists in the review and analysis of Medicaid rates. Analyzes develops and validates statistical data. The Actuarial Analyst will support the Medicaid Pricing lead in developing rate impacts and assisting with projections.

How you will make an Impact:

• Under limited supervision applies the appropriate actuarial analytical tools to the data and performs preliminary actuarial and statistical analysis.
• Updates actuarial pricing valuation and forecasting models as directed.
• Refines and collects appropriate data for actuarial analysis and ensures its reasonableness and accuracy by coordination within the division.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS degree and to have passed a minimum of one Society of Actuaries (SOA) or Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) actuarial exam; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills Experiences and Competencies:

• Exposure to Excel SQL and SAS preferred.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations the salary* range for this specific position is $76176 to $114264.
