Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Knowledge of IEP process and adapting therapeutic plans for educational environments
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
• Commitment to providing high-quality, student-focused therapy

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments for the 6th grade student as required
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized therapy plans to support educational and physical development
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure goals align with the student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)
• Document sessions, progress, and adjustments in accordance with district and professional standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and support education staff with strategies and accommodations as needed
• Adapt to potential changes in caseload as the school year progresses and enrollment shifts
