Job Description

Duties

• You will support policy development, enterprise-level oversight, and strategic direction under the guidance of the HA or supervisor.
• You will assist in formulating, developing, and directing the implementation of enterprise-wide strategic policy and long-range policy and objectives.
• You will work with a supervisor to resolve critical, complex, or unprecedented problems and assists in developing and implementing new command-wide program policies and guidance.
• You will prepare and submit for review annual Congressional reports for SF-1402 Certificate of Appointment warrant holders.
• You will assist in a comprehensive oversight program, analyzing and resolving less complex program issues to ensure the financial and operational integrity of the command.
• You will serve as an assistant Authorizing Official (AO) reviewing travel authorizations and vouchers, providing guidance on travel policy and resolving common DTS-related financial and regulatory issues with oversight for complex problems.
• You will assist in providing training for travelers and help publish and disseminate a monthly training newsletter.

• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

Qualifications To qualify for a GS-13, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

• Experience performing as an expert-level program manager.
• Experience functioning as a System Administration authority.
• Experience in formulating, authoring, and implementing strategic policy.
• Experience in financial audit and compliance leadership.
