Service Technician Opportunity At C. Harper Auto Group

The C. Harper Auto Group's Chevy dealership in Belle Vernon, PA is seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our growing team! We are looking for a dedicated professional with extensive experience in automotive service who can excel in a fast-paced and expanding environment.

Responsibilities include performing work specified on repair orders, conducting diagnostic procedures, test-driving vehicles, diagnosing and repairing automotive systems, communicating with the Service Advisor, executing warranty repairs, providing mentorship, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, staying current with automotive technology, and documenting repairs and maintenance.

Qualifications include 5+ years of Service Technician experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, brand certifications, A-level qualifications, mechanical aptitude, proficiency in diagnostic equipment, ability to perform complex repairs, excellent hand-eye coordination, strong communication and customer service skills, basic dealership software proficiency, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and state and emissions licenses.

Preferred qualifications include experience working with GM vehicles, master or brand-certified technician certification, experience with hybrid and electric vehicle systems, and familiarity with OEM standards and procedures.
