Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Med Surg/Telemetry to provide patient care on a 32-bed unit within a Level III Trauma Center. Key responsibilities include managing diverse medical and surgical cases such as bowel obstructions, nephrectomies, joint replacements, and bariatric surgeries. The role requires minimum 18 months of MedSurg/Telemetry experience and proficiency in procedures like trach care, chest tube management, IV starts, wound care, and cardiac rhythm interpretation. Qualifications include an active RN license , BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Support staff includes CNA, charge nurses, resource nurses, and ancillary teams like respiratory and phlebotomy. The RN must be willing to float within Region 1 and work a 12-hour night shift with every other weekend requirement. Additional duties involve completing hospital and unit orientation, adhering to schedule, and working during holidays as needed.
