Surgery - General Nurse Practitioner

• Schedule: Mix of days (7a-7p) and nights (7p-7a), Mon-Sun, no call. 8-10 shifts per month estimated, 4 shifts per month minimum
• Job Setting: Inpatient coverage at Level 2 Trauma Center
• Types of Cases: Trauma and Emergency General Surgery service coverage including AM rounds, OR first assisting, EGS consults, inpatient service management, trauma activations, and critical care management. Bedside procedures include central line placement, chest tube placement, I&Ds, lac repairs, and wound debridement. Working in tandem with Trauma/Acute Care Surgeons alongside 2 APPs during day and 1 APP at night
